Hi, I’m Shay, the heart, hands, and hustle behind Crafted Imperfectly Home Fragrances. I’m a proud mom of three, a lover of cozy spaces, and a firm believer that a beautifully‑scented home can change everything.

How it all began

In 2020, just after welcoming my second baby, I needed a creative outlet that fit nap schedules and midnight feedings. What started as a hobby quickly turned into something more. I started with twelve small candle tins and hand-poured my very first scent—Chocolate Fudge—right in my kitchen.

Curious (and a little nervous), I brought those candles into work. At the time, I was a manager at In-N-Out Burger, and to my surprise, they sold out that same day. That moment lit a spark in me and gave me the push I needed to keep going.

Taking it further

Not long after, I packed up my table and headed to the Riverside Farmers Market. There, I connected with people who fell in love with the same scents that reminded them of home, comfort, and joy. Every Saturday taught me something new—about fragrance, connection, and how much people crave products made with care.

Why do I pour every candle

Like many moms, I wanted home products that are beautiful, non-toxic, and safe for little hands and sensitive noses. Every item—candles, room sprays, wax melts, and car diffusers—is made with clean ingredients and lots of love. Each scent is inspired by real-life moments: Sunday mornings, cozy nights in, fresh laundry, and warm hugs.

From hobby to home staple

Today, Crafted and Perfectly has become more than I imagined. Our products have made their way into weddings, gift baskets, cozy homes, and peaceful nighttime routines. Whether you’re lighting a candle after the kids are asleep or gifting a sampler set as a thank-you or favor, I’m honored to be part of your home and your moments.
